Raw Milk

In This Life of Ours
DH found a new friend thru the Ron Paul meet up group in our area. He is only 19 years old but he already own a farm. Since we are trying to eat organic (not government regulated organic, organic as the natural way) and free hormones food, we started to buy raw milk from him. Raw milk is very different from store bought milk. We can even collect cream in the morning from the raw milk. I don't have to buy cream for cooking and coffee anymore.

Prepaid Phone Cards

We used to live within the city limits five years ago. It was very easy for are lifestyle to live in the city. Everything is right around the corner and grocery stores are 5 minutes drive from our apartment. And we have so many choices when it comes to phone companies. Calling oversees to my family is not a problem because phone companies has so many calling plans. But living in the city has a disadvantage, because you only own inside your apartment. Anything outside you needs to share with everyone.

So we bought a place outside the city limit, we have a bigger house and bigger land. Not only that, we own the whole property and we can do whatever we please to it. The down side is the phone company. We don’t have any choice to what company we want to use. Because there is only one and the basic charges are expensive because they know we don’t have any other choice but to take the service. We used them for about a year and switch to cell phones.

With cell phones we can take it anywhere and not miss a single phone call. The only problem with it is calling long distance or oversees. It is very expensive specially when using it during peak hours. We look for alternative and found phone cards, now I only have to pay for airtime not call time. Phone cards are convenient to use especially when you break down somewhere with no cell signal. All you have to do is find a phone booth and make a call. And you always know how many minutes you have left.

I recommend a phone card to those who has family oversees.

Aspartame (Last part )

2. Phenylalanine (50 percent of aspartame)

Phenylalanine is an amino acid normally found in your brain, however people with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria (PKU) cannot metabolize phenylalanine. This leads to dangerously high -- and sometimes lethal -- levels of phenylalanine in your brain. It has been shown, though, that ingesting aspartame, especially along with carbohydrates, can lead to excess levels of phenylalanine in your brain even if you do not have PKU.

Even consuming aspartame one time has been found to raise your blood levels of phenylalanine. What’s the risk of this?

Excessive levels of phenylalanine in your brain can cause the levels of serotonin in your brain to decrease, leading to emotional disorders such as depression. It can also cause schizophrenia or make you more susceptible to seizures.

3. Methanol (aka wood alcohol) (10 percent of aspartame)

Methanol/wood alcohol is a deadly poison, and the absorption of methanol into your body is sped up considerably when free methanol is ingested. Well, free methanol is created from aspartame when it is heated to above 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 Centigrade). This would occur when an aspartame-containing product is improperly stored (in the sun, for instance) or when it is heated, such as part of a "food" product like Jello.

Meanwhile, methanol breaks down into formic acid and formaldehyde -- a deadly neurotoxin -- in your body.

Even the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that methanol "is considered a cumulative poison due to the low rate of excretion once it is absorbed. In the body, methanol is oxidized to formaldehyde and formic acid; both of these metabolites are toxic."

They recommend a limit of consumption of 7.8 mg/day, but a one-liter aspartame-sweetened beverage contains about 56 mg of methanol. Heavy users of aspartame-containing products consume as much as 250 mg of methanol daily -- or 32 times the EPA limit!

The symptoms of methanol poisoning are numerous and varied. They include:

  • Vision problems
  • Headaches, ear buzzing, dizziness
  • Nausea and gastrointestinal disturbances
  • Weakness, numbness and shooting pains in your extremities
  • Behavioral disturbances
  • Memory lapses

Aspartame (Part 2)

Aspartame is a poison that does not belong in our body, and this is not an exaggeration. Yet, this toxic substance is consumed by over 200 million people around the world and is found in more than 6,000 products.

Everything from soda and chewing gum to desserts, yogurt, and even some vitamins and cough drops contains it.

Here's a breakdown of aspartames three chemicals: the amino aspartic acid and phenylalanine, and methanol.

1. Aspartic acid (40% of aspartame)

Aspartame acts as a neurotransmitter in you brain by facilitating the transmission of information from neuron to neuron. Too much aspartate in your brain kills certain neurons by allowing the influx of too much calcium into your cells. This influx trigger excessive amounts of tree radicals, which kill cells.

The neural cell damage than can be caused by excessive aspartate is why Dr. Blaylock refers to them as "excitotooxins." The "excite" or stimulate your neural cells to death.

Now, when aspartic is consumed, it significantly raises your blood level of aspartate, which leads to a high level of those neurotransmitters in certain areas of your brain, where they slowly begin to destroy neurons.

Your brain cells could be dying right now, but you likely would not notice the symptoms until 75 percent or more are gone. Then, chronic illnesses such as the following, which may by caused by long-term exposure to excitatory amino acid damage, may occur:

  • Multiple scelorsis, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease
  • Memory and hearinf loss
  • Hormonal problems
  • Epilepsy
  • AIDS
  • Brain lesions
  • Neuroendocrine disorders

Tracking Device

Being a mom takes a lot out of you. Good thing my kids are still small and don’t have to worry their where about so much. When they grow to young adult I don’t have to be too concern because of our technology now a days. GTX Corp have the solution for me and mothers alike. With information generated by GTX Corp, which provides instant real time location information and movement history on Google Maps. I can see where my children are and what they are doing in that location because you know what establishments are around that area. Personal Location Services (PLS) applications include: Children/Family Tracking, Elderly/Mentally Diminished tracking, Athletic Events/Bio-monitoring, Property/Security Military/Tactical, and Social Networking/Entertainment.

Here is the part I don’t like this kind of technology, the patriot act that the government unleash not too long ago. If I am to go ahead and get these services, how can I protect myself and my family getting monitor by unwanted sources? They can easily tell GTX Corp or other GPS company that they needed my information and the company can’t say no because of this patriot act law.

I think this is beneficial when use properly or for personal gain of an individual. But when use according to patriot act and the national ID system, this can bring harm to the lives of the citizens in this country. Just imagine ordering something over the phone in this is what you get, click here. And to get more information about GTX Corp about Personal Location Services visit http://gtxcorp.com.

Aspartame Can Damage Your Brain

Aspartame may inhibit the ability in your brain to function normally, according to a new review by scientists from the University of Pretoria and the University of Limpopo. The review found that high doses of the sweetener may lead to neurodegeneration. It has also previously been found that aspartame consumption can cause neurological and behavioral disturbances in sensitive individuals.

The review found a number of direct and indirect changes that occur in your brain as a result og high consumption levels of aspartame, including disturbing:

  • The metabolism of amino acids
  • Protein structure and metabolism
  • The integrity of nucleic acids
  • Neuronal function
  • Endocrine balances
Further, the breakdown of aspartame causes nerves to fire excessively, which can indirectly lead to a high rate of neuron depolarisation.
From Mercola.com

Please read labels and see what's in it. If it's man made do not consume it. Stick to all natural ingredients in my opinion.

Trans Fat

Trans Fat is the common name for a type of unsaturated fat with trans-isomer fatty acids. Trans fats can be monounsaturated or polyunsaturated.

Most trans fats consumed today are industrially created by partially hydrogenating plants oils - a process developed in the early 1900s and first commercialized as Crisco in 1911. The goal of partial hydrogenated is to add hydrogen atoms to unsaturated fats, making them more saturated. These more saturated fats have higher melting point, which makes them attractive for baking and extends their shelf-life. Another particular class of trans fats, vaccenicacid, occurs naturally in trace amounts in meat and dairy products from ruminants.

Unlike other dietary fats, trans fats are neither essential nor salubrious and, in fact, the consumption of trans fats increases one's risk of coronary heart disease by raising levels of "bad" LDL cholesterol and lowering levels of "good" HDL cholesterol. Health authorities worldwide recommend that consumption of trans fat be reduced to trace amounts. Trans fats from partially hydrogenated oils are more deleterious than naturally occurring oils.

Chemically, trans fats are made of the same building blocks as non-trans fats, but have a different arrangement. In trans fatty acid molecules, the hydrogen atoms bonded to paira of doubly bonded carbon atoms (characteristics of all unsaturated fats) are in the trans rather than the cis arrangement. This result in a straight, rather than kinked, shape for the carbon chain, more like straight chain of a fully saturated fat.

From Wikipedia

And why are using this stuff? Because they are cheaper than non-hydrogenated oil. But why are they banning all these herbal medicine out there and they can't ban something that has nothing good to bring in our body?

They are very concern about the health/obesity in this country. But they are the source of it all. Right now, I only use vegetable and corn oil for deep frying. And I make sure I don't heat it up past 350 degrees F. I use virgin coconut and olive oil with everything else. Take care of your health.

No Words Yet

It will be two days tonight since the primary and we don't know who wons the write in votes. The website still saying unofficial result until now. DH calls me all the time asking to check the site to make sure he doesn't miss a thing.

Not that I don't like it when he calls, but I think he can't concentrate at work because of it. And another thing there is someone seated in that position. He found out that the person got the wrong documents that is why he was not on the ballot.

I wish they post it already, but then again I guess that is how they operate. They will to it when they want to.

A Must See Video

Here is another one why no one heard of the name RON PAUL. Media is suppressing it, what else is new. The power of the media, it makes me wonder who is the person behind the media and why are they doing it. I pretty much know the answers but hey it makes you wonder.

Watch it if you like the traditional republican.

And I would like to remind the voters of Pennsylvania to come out and vote today. Today is our primary. Hope to see you in your precincts. DH is out very early this morning to put up the signs. Now he is standing outside our precinct a trying to get some vote for himself as a write in for Member of Republican State Committee. I wish he gets it. Whilst was there, I was very surprised on how many people are voting for democrat. I was pretty sure that our township are pretty much conservative when we moved here.

State Committee

You all know that my DH is very busy doing all he can to educate people on Ron Paul's view about our country. We receive a sample ballot on the mail and he found out that a few seats for republican party are empty. He called up one of our delegates and pointed out that maybe someone with a good heart in our meet up group should take the seat.

He basically nominate himself to be one of the Members of Republican State Committee. Now the republican state committee women seat is empty also, and the delegate he was speaking to told my husband to ask me to take the seat. I just laughed, and said "what do I know about politics." I didn't take political science, but if he thinks I can do it why not. They can tell me what to do and I'll do it.

So, I'll let you know after our primary what happens. This would be fun...I think.

Think About This

You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

  1. At least 2 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
  2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
  3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
  4. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
  5. You mean the world to someone.
  6. If not for you, someone may not be living.
  7. You are speci al and unique.
  8. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you trust God to do what's best, and wait on His time, sooner or later, you will get it or something better.
  9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good can still come from it.
  10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
  11. Someone that you don't even know exists, loves you.
  12. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
  13. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better when they know and you'll both be happy
  14. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.
I would to take this opportunity to thanks everyone of my friends online, my bloggers friends and especially to Ms. Weng. Yeah you know what is it all about...hehehe.

Tax Day Photo Cards

Sample Photo Card form cards direct

Every time holidays, birthdays or any other occasions is approaching I tend to run out of time to get a cards for these occasions. It always ends up sending the person an email or calling them to wish them happy birthday or whatever the occasion may be. I like to plan ahead, when done at the right time I am basically the best gift giver or best card giver for that matter.

I read online about custom-photo-greeting-cards. They have so many ways to make greeting cards. And one of them is using pictures for Photo Cards. You can’t get wrong with this one. If you are sending a birthday card to your boyfriend put a picture of you blowing kisses. And try family picture for the grandparents or parents.

I think it would be a great idea to use custom greeting cards to remind someone about an occasion. Like today is tax day, did you remember filing for your taxes? Just make sure they get it before the day the occasion is happening. Or you can make an April fools day card filled with surprises. Like pick up my dry cleaners at this address, to her/his surprise there is no dry cleaners but a party waiting. This is just a suggestion for those hopeless romantic like myself…lol.

Out Canvassing

My oldest DS and my DH is out spreading the words about taxes today. They are targeting the post office in our area. He was telling me that a lot of people still doesn't know Ron Paul. He printed a lot of fryers today to hand out to people. He is not getting any support from his meet up group. The coordinator of the group promised him that he got plans for tax day but he came out empty handed. My DH last resort is make to his own flayers. He went out for the first time with 50 of them and came half hour later telling me it's not even enough. Can you see the dedication of this man? I hope he get rewarded, and I think the reward he wants is for Ron Paul to run the country.

Cell Phone Contacts

Be careful how you list names on your cell phone!

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag which contained her mobile, credit card, purse...etc.... was stolen. 20 minutes later when she called her husband, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, husband says "I've just received your text asking about our pin number and I've replied a little while ago".

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The pickpocket had actually used the stolen hand phone to text 'hubby' in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from the bank account.

Moral of the lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, sweetheart, Dad, Mum etc....... And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked thru texts, CONFIRM by calling back. Also,
when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet "family and friends" who text you.

Just a tip to everyone who owns cell phone.

BlackHawk Holster

I was searching the internet, and I stumble upon a new pistol and revolver Blackhawk Holster. This is not like your old-fashioned thumb breaks that slow your draw and rarify re-holstering. The lock engages the trigger guards as you holster the pistol and won’t let go until you release it. Blackhawk Holster allows you to re-holster fast and securely using only one hand. That means you can eat doughnut while doing it.

Using Everything

This is my desk.

We have a few PC's and one laptop at home. Needless to say DH's PC don't have a dvd burner so every time he needed something to burn he uses mine. Right now I could have grab a few opps to post but he is using it. The laptop have a burner but he puts it in my desk to keep it away from our DC's. So every time he is on my desk he uses my PC because it's always on.

Why does he need to do all this things when I needed my computer? Argh, I really don't mind but all of my favorites are in my PC and all his favorites are in everyone else's PC. This is the only one I can use. :(

Uses for Peroxide

"I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little old bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you about peroxide, or they would lose thousands of dollars."

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe) No more canker sores and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. (Small print says mouth wash and gargle right on the bottle)

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of "Peroxide" to keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters, table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years - until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine, but was healed by soaking in peroxide.

8. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system like bleach or most other disinfectants will.

9. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, or plugged sinuses. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes then blow your nose into a tissue.

10. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.

11. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide burnt blonde
hair like the hair dye packages, but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, faddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually so it's not a drastic change.

12. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

13. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them If there is blood on clothing, Pour directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a
minute, t hen rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

14. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors with, and there is no smearing which is why I love it so much for this.

I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner.

What People Scared Of (Or just don't care)

When when will America wake up? When will you realize that enough is enough? When someone say "I will lower taxes? Would you vote for them? How about when someone say "I will abolish taxes" will you vote for them?

So, which one is better? If you pick the first one, why? We can do better with the second one. If you don't want to stop paying taxes why not give it to me? That exactly is what you're doing. You don't need your extra cash? I never heard of that before. Unless you are this big corporations presidents, CEO, politicians who are sucking all the hard earn cash and what not. Will you wake then when politicians become dictators?

They will tell you when and what to do. If they tell you to jump high, your answer will be how high. NO! Your answer should be WHY? They made up this government to control people. Why did people came to America? Because they wanted to be free. And free we should and shall be.

You wanted someone to control you? How about I will add some nuts and volts on you and attached you with a remote control? It's control you want, control you will get. Did you know that we are not a free country anymore? Are you blind or just plain don't want to know the truth?

Are you scared that after all these years something will actually get done? That our country will be "FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE" again. And you ask, "what 's going to happen to our roads, public schools, etc? They survive before taxes and there is a great chance we are going to and will survive again.

OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOUR MIND!!!

DC's Misses Dad

DH went back to work last week full time. Now our kids misses him and they always ask when is daddy coming. What he's not home yet?

But I think DH is glad he's back to work full time. He can't stand the whining, the screaming, and crying going on all day at home. I don't blame him, I myself don't like it either.

When ever he gets home early from work our DC's are all over him. Poor man, tired of working all day and when he gets home he gets attack, with all 4 little ones.

Halfway thru the winter he only works part time because his job is outside. We (myself and DC's) got used to him being home most of the time. I can leave the house with no kids in tow. I like that feeling he he he. Now I have to packed each and everyone before getting out of the garage. Good thing most of them can put their own shoes and jacket on. And I only have to take 4 because my first born is old enough to be home alone.

Can't wait for them to move out of the house...hahah. Just kidding...I will miss all of them.

Yes, Ron Paul Is Still Running

I can't believe how many people in this country doesn't know Ron Paul. And yes, he is running under the republican party. I would like to say that he is running under the "true republican party".

A friend of mine told me today why he will not win because he is not rich. It kinda put a smile in my face because it show on where she stands.

A lot of people also wanted change but don't want to vote for the right candidate, who will change the government for the better. How hard is it to search online? If you don't like your candidate vote for the different one. It doesn't matter of your democrat.

Soft Drinks Are Helpful (For cleaning that is)

To clean a toilet: Pour a can of soda (soft drink) into the toilet bowl, after one hour flush clean. The citric acid in the soda removes stains from vitreous china.

To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a crumbled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in soda.

To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of soda over the terminals to bubble away the corrosions.

To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in soda to the rusted bolt for a while.

To remove grease from clothing: Pour a can of soda into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent and run through a regular cycle. The soda will help loosen the grease stains. It also clean road haze from car windshields.

The average PH of soft drinks is 3.4. This acidity is strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones. Our human body stops building bones at around age of 30. After that it shall be dissolving the bones every year through the urine depending on the acidity of the food intake. All the dissolve calcium compounds get accumulated in the arteries, veins, skin, tissue, and organs, which affects the functioning of the kidney assisting in formation of kidney stones.

Soft drinks do not have any nutritional value (in terms of vitamins ans minerals). They have higher sugar content, higher acidity, and more additives such as preservatives and coloring. Some people like to take cold soft drinks after each meal. guess what's the impact?

Our body has a optimum temperature of 98.6 degree F for the the functioning of digestive enzymes. The temperature of cold soft drinks is less than 98.6 degree F, sometimes quite close to 0. This lowers the effectiveness of the enzymes and puts stress on our digestive system, digesting less food. In fact the food gets fermented. The fermented food produces bad smelling gases, decays and forms toxins, which are absorbed in our intestines, get circulated in the blood and delivered to the whole body. This spread toxins that can lead to the development of various diseases.

Imagine what soft drinks must be doing to your soft intestines and stomach lining.

Still Get Carded

After dropping of my daughter in her school I stop at Turkey Hill to buy my DH smoke. (I know, I know bad blah blah...that would be another post.) I walked in and asked if they have any specials like, buy one get one free deal. And the check out lady said yes, we have ____ and ____, ok I'll take one of ____.

Then she followed with, "can I see an ID please". I was surprised, I know I'm not regular and not only that, I don't smoke. I told her "are you kidding me?" I walked out the door while saying, "ok, I'll show you how old I am". Came back with my license and told her,"I'm way too old for this, here look". Buying smoke control by the government, I will not be surprise with this new ID coming out...the government will know everything about you, i.e. buy, eat, read, etc. Or how often you have sex. Don't be surprise, they will.

There was two older people in front of me checking out. They told that I should be grateful that someone still thinks that I am young. (what the heck!) Are you kidding me!, it's annoying specially if I had to take two toddler out of their car seat just to get the stinking smoke. (Stop it, it's our business if someone smoke or not with the kids in the van.) Because no one in my family ever smoke in the presence of our DC's. Not that we are against second hand smoke, it's because we don't want our kids to copy anyone. We know its bad, it's an addiction.

I told my DH what happens and answer me with, "carded when buying cigarettes, next police stopping individuals for no reason at all".

Like I said before, if the parents of under age kids doesn't care why should other people will. Mind your own business.

Life of Ours Author

Mrs. Cheers, Keystone USA

"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (What mother doesn't?) in the laboratory and in the field (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (the whole darned family) and already have five credits (four sons & one daughter, 1 joined the working community, 4 were educated @ home ). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?), and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers, and the rewards are more of a satisfaction than just money."
