And She Stayed Home

That is MIL today. FIL had a doctor's appointment and being with dementia she didn't feel like going out with someone. She usually the first one to volunteer to go out of the house for anything. Sometimes they will go out four times a day. Depending on how irritating she gets.

Anyone, from what FIL said, he feels that she "extra" didn't know him this morning. That he is a total stranger that likes to hang-out with her. One of this days I might say, "where did you pick him last night, might have been such a crazy night for you for not to remember who you are with," woohoo grandma! picking-up strangers for one night stand are we?"

With that, I think DH will be able to smack me. hahahaha Anyway, with that thought in mind, I don't think I will be able to say something like it. She was fine the whole time FIL was gone. She have a questioned written in her face, but I ignore it. Scared on what kind of answer and question she would say and asked me then. She stayed in the bedroom the whole time, except for the bathroom used.

Mrs. Cheers, Keystone USA

"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (What mother doesn't?) in the laboratory and in the field (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (the whole darned family) and already have five credits (four sons & one daughter, 1 joined the working community, 4 were educated @ home ). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?), and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers, and the rewards are more of a satisfaction than just money."
