Wordfilled Wednesday

I was going to title this as "Wordless Wednesday" but I have too much to say about the whole process. Firstly, this is the second session for my two children. This time, the doctor wanted to do a detox to flush whatever bad bacteria they have inside and take pro-biotic after flushing the bad ones, if there are any.

biomagnetic therapyHowever, all of the pills they needed to take are tablets, capsules and powder. The powder is Vitamin C, and the other two are not. On the first day, I tried it with DS, but he vomit when he can't shallow the tablet as big as my pinky. Today, I tried it with DD, mixed in with apple sauce and I powdered the tablet, nope, she didn't even shallow the damn mixture. I called DH at work telling him my delima but, he doesn't have any suggestion for me.

biomagnetic therapy I think we are not going to do the detox the way this is going. I can't start again next week because they need to attend a testing outside our house. I AM SO STRESSED OUT, I WILL NOT BE SURPRISE IF I DROP WITH HEART ATTACK TODAY...ugh!

Are You Protected?

If you work outside your house, you are likely to be around other people. Unless you work in the lab somewhere that you are the only person in the room then you don't have to worry about the pandemic that is all over the news these days. I am lucky enough to teach my children at home except for one who's in high school. I would suggest eating healthy meals and washing hands every time you go to the bathroom. If you are still scared of what will happen, you can buy swine flu kits. We don't go out much however, I take precaution by giving my kids vitamin C before going out and washing hands when we get home.

Sleeping Pattern

Ever since we spring forward I find myself sleeping until 8 in the morning. I was usually awake by 6:30 and i can't seems to get back in track. I hate waking up late in the morning because my daytime will cut shorter too. One of these day, I have to go to bed as early as 8 pm and wake up at 6:30. But when, argh...day light saving time indeed.

Stylish Prescription Glasses Online For $8

I have read so many tips on how you can be frugal these days. You will find tips on groceries bills to clothing and everything in between. But when it comes to groceries I’m not frugal enough. I buy foods that are mostly made with natural ingredients. I can see blogs that are telling you are saving this much or that much by buying certain items, but most of the food they bought has High Fructose Corn Syrup, Fully & Partially Hydrogenated Oil and glycerin and the like. I’m sorry but I’d rather freeze my behind at home to save money on electric bills than eating this crap. Right now we have our thermostat set at 55 degrees.

But, I can definitely save some money buying eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. For 8 dollars a pair, I can easily buy reading glasses and sunglasses for driving around. I hate it when it’s bright outside. I can’t see very well without shades and with the sun shine is the worst for me. But believe it or not, I still have 20/20 vision for my age, because I wear sunglasses every time it’s bright outside. Plus I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables that are good for my eyes.

See Your Doctor

Two recent studies of men with diabetes suggest that those who had erectile dysfunction (ED) were significantly more likely to have heart trouble than men without ED. Research increasingly indicates that ED, which often stems from poor blood flow, can be an early warning sign of coronary artery disease, which also results from obstructed blood flow. Left untreated, coronary artery disease can lead to heart attacks and stroke.

Since ED symptoms typically occur three to four years before symptoms of coronary artery disease, they may be a powerful predictor of future cardiovascular problems. The two new studies show that this link appears to be even stronger for men with diabetes.

Simple changes can reduce risk. All men with ED, and especially those with diabetes, are advised to eat healthy diet, exercise regularly, and abstain from smoking. Men with diabetes who have symptoms of ED should get tested for cardiovascular disease. And all men with ED should talk to their doctor to discuss risk factors and possible medications.

Baby-Soft Feet with Artemis Woman Products

When you have more than two children, sometimes it’s hard to do all the things that a mother wants to do. Take me for example; I have five children and even going out to get a haircut is a job. And to think about going to spa with them will not be relaxing. My hair may all fall off if I go to a day spa. But for now, using Heel Smoother at home will do. I can do the day spa thing when they all move out of my house. Heel Smoother is safe to use; it is made of the same material used in microdermabrasion treatments, and has the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance. And by buying any product from them, they will donate 2% of what you pay to charity. You can use the Promotional Code AWPPP08 to get a 15% discount. If you like to do your own pedicure just like me, check out Artemis Woman.

Three Myths About Running and Your Health

1. Running will give you a heart attack or other heart problems. It is true that exercise temporarily raises the odds of a heart attack while you're mid-workout, but doing it consistently reduces that risk over the long haul, leading to a net benefit. Going for a run most days of the week is doing far more good than bad for your heart.

2. Running will ruin your bones and joints. A study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found no evidence of accelerated rates of osteoarthritis among long-distance runners. Weight-bearing exercise like running helps stave off osteoporosis by maintaining bone mineral density.

3. Running will kill you before your time. According to a study in the Archives of Internal Medicine, running and other vigorous exercise in middle age is associated with a longer life. Not only that, it will make your later years more pleasant by reducing disability.

So, there you go. Just make sure run in moderation and condition yourself every time you want to do some kind of exercises. I also read that people with my blood type are not very athletic and only needed minimal exercise. And live a healthy life when we eat mostly vegetables. No wonder that I love vegetables. Even my DH is not very fond of meat either. We have the same blood type.

Search your blood type read what type of food are good for you. I will post the blood types and food that are best for these blood types later on.

Is It Possible to Be Healthy and Overweight?

Yes, according to Mr. Mercola. It's the same with thin and unhealthy. You probably seen a lot of it on TV. But there are far more unhealthy overweight people than thin people.
The health risks of obesity are fairly well known by now. Obese adults tends to have higher rates of high blood pressure, abnormal lipids, cancer and diabetes. The vast majority of people are treated with costly medications that don't address the real problems but rather cause further deterioration of health.

The side effects alone from all of these medications can overwhelm your system, but even after adjusting for "traditional" risk factors like high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels, obese adults also face increased risks of:

Silent vascular disease (blood vessel disease that causes no symptoms)
Atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
Thicker heart walls

Changing your diet is a big help towards a healthy lifestyle. But please don't do it only for a short time. You need to change your diet forever. You will not see the result if you only do it for a week. I read a book about this young man who basically have to eat dirt (minerals and such) from his father land just to get better. The doctors suggested to removed some part of his intestine and told that he will not live long after. And that was it, he already he is dying and tried everything just to get better. Ditto, the very same cure is found in his own backyard.

You see, not everything will be cure by medication made by pharmaceutical company.

Over The Counter Medicine

My ODS has an allergy problem. He used to take a prescription medicine all year for it. Now the medicine he takes was approved to be sold over the counter. The problem I have with this is the pharmacy pulled it out where everyone can just take it and pay for it at the cashiers. Now you need to show your ID just to buy this thing because some drug dependent people was stealing it.

Why do I have to pay for drug addicts problem? Why am I the one have to show ID for this medicine? I did not do anything? I have a prescription for this and they (FDA) decide that it should be over the counter. But...yes the but part, I don't like when they put my information into the system. What happens to free America?

What they can't get the drug addicts information and they will be happy with the regular people information instead? Those who hasn't done anything can be in the system and those who has can not because they can't find any information on them. What is next, I'll be charge with abusing the this drug because they can see I buy it every week?

And here comes the database about people who use preventive medicine. Look me up my readers...NOT! Ridiculous!

Shortcuts Does Not Work

Maybe getting somewhere shortcuts works, but when dieting I don’t believe it is. There is always a side effect when taking diet pills like alli diet pill. You are better off doing it in an old fashion way. I know a lot of us including myself don’t have time to go to the gym and get a regular exercise. Attending to my children daily needs keep me on my toes. Not to mention that we go outside everyday from an hour to three hours. So, I’m not seating on my behind and playing with my keyboard all day. In addition we have a swimming pool in the backyard and I try doing some water exercises while I’m out there with my kids. Taking alli diet pill will be my last resort of dieting. Have you read what consumer are saying about alli diet pill. Like I said they have side effects, make sure you read everything before starting any type of diet pill just like alli diet pill.

HPV Vaccine Blamed for Teen's Paralysis

A month after 13 year old Jenny Tetlock was vaccinated against the HPV virus, she missed the lowest hurdle in gym class. It was the first sign of a degenerative muscle disease that 15 months later left her nearly completely paralyzed.

Her father, Philip Tetlock, a professor at UC-Berkeley, has embarked on an odyssey to find out whether the vaccine, Gardasil, is to blame.

Tetlock is not the only one concerned. The public watchdog group Judicial Watch has been periodically obtaining adverse event reports on Gardasil from the FDA. 10 deaths have been linked to Gardasil since September 2007, and there have been 140 reports so far this year of serious side effects such as miscarriage and Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Do your own research before putting yourself in danger. Who cares what is your doctor tells you. They will say that because they are told to say it. That is the corporate America for you. Researcher asked the government to fund their research, then the government turn to its citizen to get the money back spent in research by making some vaccine mandatory. Use your head people, put your brain to work once in a while.

Life of Ours Author

Mrs. Cheers, Keystone USA

"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (What mother doesn't?) in the laboratory and in the field (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (the whole darned family) and already have five credits (four sons & one daughter, 1 joined the working community, 4 were educated @ home ). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?), and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers, and the rewards are more of a satisfaction than just money."
