In Need of Restful Day

And today is my restful day. I could sleep all day to rest but even I called this restful, I have children to teach and watch. What a two months of moving/cleaning/repairing and I can't still see the end of it all. Maybe I will today a lighter day of house-work load. he he he

An early morning sun @ Chestnut Ridge Farms

Our classroom is set-up. In-laws suite is ready to move-in to. Big kitchen is only waiting for counter top & backsplash. Kitchen hard wood flooring started. Laundry room hooked up. One toilet, two sinks, one shower running. Everything else are on hold until we get to it.

We still have so much things to do. Wood & coal furnace will be hook-up today. The duct work will be DH jobs. We have one propane heat running to warm a room that we all sleep in. The children bedrooms are still waiting for fresh paint to be set up, as well as the master bedroom.

Whew! Just talking about all the things need to get done makes me very tired. I better start my restful day.

"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (What mother doesn't?) in the laboratory and in the field (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (the whole darned family) and already have five credits (four sons & one daughter, 1 joined the working community, 4 were educated @ home ). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?), and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers, and the rewards are more of a satisfaction than just money."
