Who is still running from the Republican Party?

There are three candidates left for Republican Party. McCain, Huckabee and Paul. My dh received a letter from Paul saying that... well it sounded like he is giving up.

Questions: What are people afraid of Ron Paul agenda? Why is it that when a candidate wanted to change for the better good, people runs the other way? It makes me think that people are filled with fears that it may actually work. That they may not get support from the government. That they may actually have to work to support their needs. This is the big problem in the US. A lot of people leaching of the government. I hear a lot of people complaining about it but then where are they to do anything about it. They rather vote for someone who thinks money grows on tree and socialism is most beneficial. Sad, isn't it.
