Saturday Happenings

Woke up in the hurry today. My YDS didn't come to my bedroom to wake me up. Sure enough when I got to the living room I saw our front door open. I went to his bedroom and he wasn't there. I went back to my bedroom to put a robe on and wake up my DH. What a relief, he didn't go far. Well I didn't know how far he's gone but the good thing is I found him on our walk path. He is such a stinker, I think I woke up so fast when I found out he was missing. DH forgot to locked the living room gate last night so instead of coming to my bedroom to wake me up (which by the way always does) he went outside because he saw the gate was open. Who needs coffee in the morning when your child is gone missing? That would be enough excitement for a week for me.

"I'm a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations. I have a continuing program of research (What mother doesn't?) in the laboratory and in the field (normally I would have said indoors and out). I'm working for my Masters, (the whole darned family) and already have five credits (four sons & one daughter, 1 joined the working community, 4 were educated @ home ). Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities (any mother care to disagree?), and I often work 14 hours a day (24 is more like it). But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers, and the rewards are more of a satisfaction than just money."
