DC finished their classes early today. DS only had 2 lessons to do and I spent most of the remaining hours to DD. She did 5 classes today, I can't wait until next year she will get the same amount as DS. However, my fourth DS will be doing what she is doing right now.

I am planning about moving our bedroom downstairs tomorrow. Before that, I think I need to go out and buy some paint to make it brighter down there. I know we (DH & I) will only be using it to sleep, but I wanted the wall bright. Maybe with a yellow tint or light blue green. Hoping to get it done this weekend because DH will be starting work soon (his own business).

Something Is Wrong

We all know (northern countries) that spring is just around the corner, somewhere...lol. I always gain weight during the winter months and I try to lose it all plus more in the warmer months. Yesterday, I woke up early to cook my teenager breakfast in a long time. I think I was up around 5:30 in the morning and by 1:30pm I was exhausted. My shoulders and arms can't function anymore.

Don't get me wrong I love to eat, especially if you put shellfish in front of me. I started to eat less to get my stomach get use to eating less food. Staying home while trying to lose weight does not work for me. If I have a job it's very easy, because I don't have a kitchen at work. Even when I worked in a restaurant, I never had time to set down and eat.

I want my weight back when I met DH. I am so jealous of him right now, because he is almost the same size when now when I met him. He always tell that he love my love handles however, I don't and I think he is just saying that because he is married to me.

How are these people with the same kids count like me keep their weight in control? What is it, smoking a pack a day and eat one meal? However that is not healthy. Ahh, what a life.

Sockless

I have not wear socks for about two days now. I think my feet are getting use on being cold now and I have not really touch our thermostat since October. Why don't I wear socks, you ask? Well, since fall and colder temperature came, I started to wear two pairs of socks to keep myself warm. Furthermore, I set my thermostat on 55° F to save on electric bill. And we all know that human sweats and that was what happen to my feet. It happens mostly at night when I have layers of blankets over them. In addition when I take a shower after drying them with a towel I put my socks right away to warm me up. Not very healthy in my part, I know. Over the weekend my feet started to itch and had a little smell. I know right away I had to do something, I rinse them, dry it with a towel and blow dry it. I did not put socks until I have to get out of the house. Until now I only wear socks when going outside and I put some foot powder inside the socks.

The last time I had an athlete foot was when I working in the restaurant. It happened in the winter months too. I bought a brand new work boots with padding inside. Little that I know my feet can't breathe and only get air out when I get home from work. It was pretty bad that the bottom of my feet started having holes in them and very itchy. Thank goodness for foot powder, I also had to buy a new pair of work boots with no padding. I hardly wear the padded boots anymore and I still have it collecting dust in my closet, and saving it for rainy days just in case I can't afford to buy footwear with our economy nowadays. Moreover, why some people have flat feet? I thought it was only an urban legend until I met one. A lot that I know.

DD Doing Lessons Today

She needs to do 5 lessons for today. Since she is the only one I have to teach today, I'm giving her more break than usual. I hope she does not get discourage next time she gets sick. I think she is almost caught up with the ending date of June, that's why I want her to do some lessons today.

She don't have other things lined up for today, she may as well do some lessons. By the way, she is being pain in my behind today. Whiny and grumpy in my opinion.

DH Helped

Yup, he did yesterday with the request of our 8 year DS. It was not a typical Thursday because her sister is not feeling very well. All I have to do is teach him with no interruption. I wanted to teach him all day to finish his lesson for the week however, he wanted to do less or only what we have for yesterday.

DH did one Science lesson for him and I did three. Not bad, every help is very much welcome. Thank you DH for such a light day load. I even asked him to go to the bank for me to pay our van payment for the month. DH done more than usual load of work yesterday, I'm shocked. (did I said that...lol, just kidding honey) However, I appreciate it very much for helping me yesterday.

In another news, I received the 1099 from IZEA yesterday. Did anyone else received theirs? We already file our taxes last Friday. Now, we will try to amend it this weekend if we can. I made a whooping $2179.00 from them for eight months, not including SS, that amount is only for 3P's.

What A Day

Two conferences for my two home school kids today. Plus they wanted to do a block scheduling this week. I am beat and much ready for the weekend. And what day is it today?.. yup only Wednesday. We found out that the two are still behind with their lessons. Their last day of school is schedule in July and August. I try not to go too fast to cover everything and I don't want them to skip even an optional lessons. As a matter of fact, they like the optional lessons much better than required. We did not get done until 4:00pm today. Each one of them did five lessons each today. Did I mention that some of those classes is for 2 hours?

I need some rest to get myself ready tomorrow. Have a good night every one.

Very Windy

I think my we had 3 power failure already because it is very windy outside. Some flickering here and there enough to turn off my pc a few times. We have an in ground utility however, at the end of our street you will find the utility poles. That is where the failure coming from. I also needed to re-start my pc because somehow my internet connection is not working.

We had such a nice day yesterday, now we are having very windy and gloomy day. Yuck!

It Never Get Done

Once you have family like mine, your work is never done. I know I can easily quit blogging and give myself extra time to rest however, that will never happens. That extra time will be filled with other stuff too.

Thinking back when I was young and had nothing to worry about. School is nothing compare to having a family. I feel burnt out most of the time, (it has nothing to do about 1200 ec drop in a day lol) and my body is longing for one nap a day. Now you know how old I'm really am...ha ha ha.

Whew

I was able to drop 1200 EC today. Now, I need to get some zzz and start again tomorrow, huh I'm addicted. Very tiring, I should start reading about no-script dropping more to make it faster. It takes me such a long time to drop, I envy those people who can do 300 for 30 minutes. I enjoy doing it however, it's very annoying when I wait for blog to load. In addition, I can only drop during the busy hours when every one else are home doing something in the internet.

Have You Ever?

1. Have you ever been on TV?
When my DD was little, our local TV station approached us asking if I wanted to be on the news with my DD while grocery shopping. I told the camera man "NO Thank You". That was the closest to be on TV.

2. Have you ever sung in public?
Yes, when I was in grade school (elementary).

3. Have you ever dyed your hair blond?
Nope, however, I dyed it Auburn when I was single.

4. Have you ever eaten frogs' legs?
No, not yet. But with the US economy anything is possible.

5. Have you ever received a present that you really hated?
I don't think so.

6. Have you ever walked into a lamp post?
No

7. Have you ever cooked a meal by yourself for more than 15 people?
Yes, every holiday.

8. Have you ever fallen or stumbled in front of others?
Yes, it was my very first time in registrar office of my high school. I sled going down the steps, and there was a cute boy right there watching me fall.

9. Have you ever done volunteer work?
Do mean being a SAHM is not volunteer work? ha ha ha Yes I have, waving sign for my candidate last spring.

Wohoo!!! 1 Year Blogiversary

Can you believe it? LOL, I made it a year in blogosphere. What have I learned in a year? Wow, where to start? So many things, don't pay attention to criticism just write about it lol let it out of my system. It's hard to do however, out of sight out of mind, huh! there you go. I was thinking about having a contest however, so many blogs having it lately plus I don't have much time. I decided to opt not to do it instead.

PR sucks when you are doing paid post.
White smoke is a life saver. If you don't know what it is "goggle it" :P. (UTE...if you did not buy the hard copy for this and update your window often, which always the case when you are using your pc a lot, your license will expire and guess what, the update is not free. I hate White Smoke for doing it and I will not recommend this program to anyone. It's always about the money..11/21/2012)
Blog owner never respond to my comments unless I'm on their blogroll lists with a few exceptions.
I hate tag/memes/awards and such, people I'm tagging never bothers posting it, again with a few exceptions. One thing good about it is, I can post it when I don't have anything to post about.
